Visits

Your visitors are welcome at any hour that is in keeping with your desires and comfort. Afternoons and early evenings (before 8 p.m.) are the most popular times. There are several places available for you to visit.

All units have sunporches or large day rooms with seating arrangements for visits and cupboards supplied with ideas and equipment to use during visits.

There are smaller areas off of the MVCC dining rooms called the Terrace Room and the Lakeview Room. These rooms provide a pleasant area for dining, family activities, or for general sharing. Televisions and VCRs can be arranged to share family gatherings or videos of travels. Call our front office at 848-4300 to reserve these rooms and mention if you need a television/VCR.

During nice weather, we encourage you and your guests to enjoy our beautifully maintained grounds. A paved walkway allows for walks and wheelchair rides overlooking the lake. Patios with tables and umbrellas are frequently used for outdoor picnics and visits. We encourage your visits and sharing and will do all we can to make this possible.

Pets

Pets are always welcomed provided their immunizations are current and the animal is well behaved. It is helpful if a leash is used since pets are not allowed in areas where nursing procedures are done or where food is kept or served.
