Customized Addiction Therapies in Wisconsin

Every individual struggling with addiction has unique needs – whether that addiction is to alcohol or other drugs. Some individuals need a more structured and intensive recovery program and require a significant amount of support while they are obtaining treatment. For this reason, North Central Health Care offers a Substance Abuse Day Treatment program that provides a multi-disciplinary approach in treating those with a chemical dependency. Services are available to residents in the counties of Marathon, Langlade, and Lincoln.

Intensive Treatment for Those Who Need It

Substance Abuse Day Treatment is a six-week structured program for individuals struggling with addiction – whether that addiction is to alcohol or other drugs. Program sessions take place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Individual therapy appointments are also scheduled weekly.

Substance Abuse Day Treatment utilizes interventions and techniques may include:

  • Group Therapy
  • Individual Therapy
  • Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Substance Abuse Education (Alcohol and Other Drugs)
  • Co-Occurring Education
  • 12-Step Recovery Philosophy

A Team Approach

All individuals are treated by a team of skilled individuals trained in multiple disciplines. This team works together to review and assess the individual’s progress and to adjust the individual care plan as needed. After successful completion of the Substance Abuse Day Treatment program, each client is set up with appropriate aftercare treatment with a substance abuse counselor as well as an introduction to the recovery community.

Building a Support Network

North Central Health Care offers supportive services for family members and significant others of Substance Abuse Day Treatment individuals. Counseling and therapy options offered by professional team of providers helps friends and family develop a better understanding of their loved ones addiction, treatment and life after treatment. Options may include individual and group therapy.
