North Central Health Care Names Dr. Trisa Danz Chief Medical Officer

Press Release

North Central Health Care is pleased to announce that Dr. Trisa Danz has been named Chief Medical Officer (CMO), bringing her clinical experience to a leadership role focused on advancing quality care across NCHC’s programs.

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Danz will work closely with NCHC’s medical staff and leadership team to strengthen clinical quality, foster collaboration across programs, and advance safe, effective and person-centered care. Her experience in behavioral health and understanding of NCHC’s services will support the organization’s continued efforts to improve care for individuals and families throughout Marathon, Langlade and Lincoln counties and beyond.

Dr. Danz joined NCHC in 2025 as a child and adolescent psychiatrist, bringing experience in inpatient and outpatient care, private practice, and consulting. She earned her M.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed her psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Hawaii. She is dual board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and emphasizes holistic approaches to behavioral health that emphasize family, social and environmental factors in treatment.

As she transitions into the CMO role, Dr. Danz will continue serving patients in NCHC’s Youth Behavioral Health Hospital while the organization recruits a permanent psychiatrist to support ongoing services and facilitate her transition more fully into medical leadership.

NCHC looks forward to Dr. Danz’s leadership and collaboration in supporting clinical excellence and delivering high-quality care to the communities it serves.
