Honoring Family Caregivers in Our Community

Supporting Those Who Support Others Across Marathon, Lincoln, and Langlade Counties

Each November, we celebrate National Family Caregivers Month, a time to honor the love, strength, and commitment of those who provide care every day. At North Central Health Care (NCHC), caregiving is at the core of our mission. From behavioral health and crisis services to skilled nursing and community-based support, our programs are designed to help individuals and families thrive, together.

Local Impact: Caring for Families Close to Home

Across Marathon, Lincoln, and Langlade Counties, North Central Health Care is proud to walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Every day, we see how acts of car, big and small, strengthen our communities and bring hope where it’s needed most.

Through our behavioral health servicescommunity-based programs, and skilled nursing and long-term care, we’re dedicated to supporting people at every stage of life. Whether it’s helping someone find stability through mental health care, offering resources that allow families to remain connected, or providing compassionate long-term support to loved ones, our teams are honored to be part of that journey.

Each service, each conversation, and each moment of care reflects a larger circle of compassion that connects neighbors, families, and friends across our region. We are deeply grateful to serve this community, and to stand beside those who give so much of themselves in the service of others.

Supporting the Caregivers Who Support Others

It’s estimated that 1 in 4 adults in the United States are family caregivers. We see the incredible love and strength behind that commitment, and we also understand the strain it can place on you and your family.

This month serves as a gentle reminder: your wellbeing matters too.
You cannot pour from an empty cup. Taking time for yourself, asking for help, or simply taking a breath isn’t selfish, it’s essential.

When you need a break or extra support, lean on us.
North Central Health Care is here to provide the same heartfelt care and compassion that you give your loved ones, through our behavioral health programs, crisis response teams, community services, and long-term care facilities. Whether you’re caring for a child, partner, parent, or friend, you are not alone.

“In caregiving, there are a lot of things we want to pour into, but we forget to pour back into ourselves.”
