Resident Transitions

Throughout the various phases of renovations on the NCHC Wausau Campus, residents and families may have questions pertaining to resident care and moves at Mount View Care Center. A Resident Transition Coordinator will be available for residents and families to answer questions or provide assistance throughout the renovation process here at NCHC.

The Resident Transition Coordinator is here to:

• Ensure that families are receiving information
• Communicate progress of the renovation as well as any potential impact to residents
• Hold meetings for residents and families
• Work with the Board on Aging Long Term Care Ombudsman to ensure we are continuing to meet residents’ needs throughout the renovation process
• Work with staff to ensure they are informed of renovation progress and are able to continue to provide excellent patient care through the renovation
