Congratulations on your new role with North Central Health Care! We look forward to seeing you at your upcoming orientation. Below are a few resources, tips, reminders and contacts to help you through the new hire process.
Tips For New Hires
- Don't forget your mask! Upon arrival you will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and will have your temperature taken. If you forget your mask one will be provided for you.
- Reminder that your mask must be worn at all times while on NCHC grounds
- Make sure you have all the employee health pieces completed (TB test read, paperwork completed)
- If you haven't already provided any required certification cards and/or 2 forms of identification (driver license, social security card, passport or birth certificate) you should bring those along with you to provide to Human Resources.
- Remember to pack a lunch! Coffee, water and snacks are provided most morning. You are encouraged to bring a lunch as this is not provided.
- COVID- If you're experiencing signs and symptoms before a scheduled orientation or shift, please call employee health at 715.848.4396

DAY TWO - Understanding Those We Serve & Technology

Day two of orientation dives a little deeper into the demographics we serve here at North Central Health Care. Learn about the NCHC continuum of care and how it is reflected in all direct care units from dementia care to youth mental health services. After a break for lunch we will head to the computer lab for a hands on demo of some of the commonly used technology like QuickCharge and UKG, our Learning Management System.Key Presenters

DAY THREE - Benefits, NCHC Systems, Processes & Support
Wednesday | 8am-4:30pm | Board Room & Computer Lab

Kick off day three with an overview of all of the benefits available at North Central Health Care. Work with the [Enrollment Team] to sign up for any benefits you are eligible for. Later, learn the basics of on campus printing and how to use our temperature scanners. After lunch, walk through some Outlook basics and learn how to navigate our email systems. Wrap up the day with an interactive demo on how to properly don and doff Personal Protective Equipment and how to properly clean them after each use.Key Presenters

FAQ's
Where do I park for orientation?
Park by the yellow flag and enter through door number 13.
Do I have to wear a mask for orientation?
Yes, please wear a mask to and from the building. If needed, masks are
available at the front entrance
Will there be lunch or can I bring a lunch to orientation?
Yes, we will have snacks, coffee, and water for you. Please bring a lunch
if you would like and we have a refrigerator to keep anything cold if needed.
(Please note: Microwave access is limited.)
What do I wear for orientation?
Business casual is best, please no jeans, shorts, or sweatpants.
Do I need to bring any documents to orientation?
Yes, if you haven't already provided any required certification cards and
